Meet Our Dedicated Dog Trainers in menifee, CA

As a child, I was the one to rescue dogs off the street and bring them home and make them part of our pack.  I have a picture of myself training a puppy when I was about 13 years old.  In 2003, I trained my dogs with Paul Owens, the author of The Original Dog Whisperer, and that is when I knew that I would become a professional dog trainer.  I excelled in training my own dogs and other family members’ dogs for years.

After we brought home our first purebred Belgian Malinois Oz, I realized that I didn’t know enough about dog training and wanted to learn more.  I finally took that critical next step with Animal Behavior College and became certified as a Dog Trainer, Cat Trainer and Service Dog Trainer.  I enjoy knowledge and seek it out especially when it pertains to something that I am passionate about.  This year I got my Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) title and I am very proud of this certification.  With this certification, I will be required to maintain my knowledge and grow it every year which fits right into who I am as a person.  I also completed a 6-week course with APDT earlier this year on Dog Behavior Consulting.  I will always continue to grow my knowledge of Dog Training to benefit my clients – that is my promise!

My next adventure is expanding my Scent Work knowledge and becoming a Certified Instructor (CNWI).  I have been enriching dogs’ lives with the “Find It” game for about 21 years now.  I am also a Canine Good Citizen evaluator, Fit Dog Trainer, and a Temperament Test Judge all through AKC online programs.  I am looking forward to expanding our new kenneling business to include Dog Training and other enrichment programs for your sweet pups.
